The Name of God: An Introduction

Clearly, names are important in God’s Word and are not meant to be taken lightly. But we must remember the One name above all other names (Philippians 2:9), which is the name of God. The name of God can be a sensitive subject, especially when one considers the fact that we are not meant to take the name of God in vain (Exodus 20:7).
