As stated in its preface, “The translators of the New Living Translation set out to render the message of the original texts of Scripture into clear, contemporary English.” Tyndale goes on to explain that the NLT blends literal, word-for-word translation with modern English conceptual equivalency.

How to Download the NLT on Our Apps
- [NOTE: SKIP IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THE APP INSTALLED] Download the Blue Letter Bible app from the App Store / Google Play Store.
- Open the app and navigate to “My Bibles.”
- Scroll through the options until you find the New Living Translation (NLT).
- In the bottom-right corner, you will see a green download button. Tap on it to begin downloading the NLT to your device.
Once this process is complete, you will be able to read the NLT without an Internet connection.
