22 New Categories with over 200 New Sermons

Charles Spurgeon is widely regarded as one of the most God-glorifying preachers in history, earning him the renowned title, “Prince of Preachers.” His commentaries and sermons are widely used and beloved by those in the Christian community. Because of this, Blue Letter Bible is always seeking to add more value to his resources that we offer. And we are excited to announce our newest update: categorized sermon groups.
Previously, you could sort our Spurgeon sermons by their designated sermon number (“Sort by Sermon No.”) or by their date of delivery (“Sort Canonically”). Now, we have added a section where we have sorted hundreds of these sermons into over 20 brand-new categories. These categories include “Blood & the Cross,” “Heaven & Hell,” and “Prayer,” to name a few. All of the sermons on the site are accessible in the standard “Spurgeon’s Sermons” section, but many are also included in the topically sorted section.

Along with adding topical categories, we have also added over 200 new sermons to Spurgeon’s author page overall, bringing the total to over 1,000. It is such a blessing to be able to offer so much content from one of the greatest preachers in history. We pray that his messages are a blessing to your time in God’s Word. To start reading, you can head over to Spurgeon’s author page on our website. We hope to continue providing more resources from this godly man and preacher.
