Resources in Celebration of Reformation Day

Posted on October 30, 2017 Posted by nicksteward

In celebration of Reformation Day, we invite you to take a look at our related resources on Blue Letter Bible. Preservation of the Gospel is as much a priority today as it was in 1517, when Martin Luther strove to return the church to purity of faith in the midst of growing corruption. He challenged the church to withdraw from human influences back to a life founded upon the Word of God through his issuance of Ninety-Five Theses, which he publically nailed to the door of the Wittenberg Castle Church.

Our other works by Luther include: his commentary on the Book of Galatians, articles on the Incarnation, two of his publications, Concerning Christian Liberty and A Treatise on Good Works, as well as a dozen of his most noted sermons.

We also encourage you to listen to an insightful sermon by Pastor Bill Acton called “Reformation Blessings,” and be inspired by listening to the three messages from Kevin Otsuji: “Here We Stand,” “The Just Shall Live by Faith,” and “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God.”

Additionally, we offer two BLB articles, “The First Reformation Day” and Thaddeus Williams answering the question, “Is the Reformation Still Relevant Today?”

Last, but certainly not least, are the Creeds, Catechisms, and Confessions, which reinforce the importance of remaining true to the foundation and spiritual values of our Christian faith.

You can find all these resources in one place on our Reformation Day Page.
