March 18, 2013 at 4:24 pmWonderful post Chris,
I always look so forward to all of BLB’s posts. They are chalked full of things we need to hear, digest and work toward. During my studying last night I came upon a sermon by Ray Stedman,in the BLB commentaries that blessed me so much.
He said, when I’m asked what I do I say, “I talk to people about Jesus and His love if they’ll let me.” He said a very large percentage after thinking about it for a minute then want to talk about Jesus and if they don’t he just leaves it with that sentence and doesn’t press it further. He said so many insightful things. At the end I thought, Lord I want to be like that.
It’s titled “Expansion of the Church”. What a simple yet effective way to open up a conversation. His witness is so powerful and chalked full of a love for God that you can hear just overflows.
