The following list is taking from the works of F.E. Marsh. The commentaries of F.E. Marsh are one of the many items that will be added to the Blue Letter Bible website in 2012.
What are we to do with the word of God? Eight things:
Receive the Word with meekness, and thus be saved from all wickedness (James 1:21).
Let it dwell in us richly, that we may teach others (Colossians 3:16).
Keep it, and thus have His love perfected in us (1 John 2:5).
Continue in it, that it may be manifest that we are His disciples indeed (John 8:31).
Hold it fast, that we may be able to convince gainsayers (Titus 1:9).
Be doers of it, and not deceive ourselves by thinking that hearing is enough without the doing (James 1:22).
Speak it out boldly, that the Lord may be honoured (Philippians 1:14).
Hold it forth faithfully, by living it out truly (Philippians 2:16).

Acts 17:11 Search it daily
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly-dividing the Word of truth.
God is encouraging us to study it. The Word, so it mush be available not to study it.
Show thyself approved unto HIM, not people or anyone.
God is encouraging us to approve ourselves to Him.
So it must be available to approve ourselves to others.
A workman, you and I, a workman of what? The truth.
Needeth not to be ashamed,
God is encouraging us not to be ashamed, so it must be available to be ashamed. How? wrongly dividing the true.
Rightly-dividing the word of true, God here is encouraging us to rightly-divide it
It must be available to wrongly-divide the word of truth if God is encouraging us not to.
The Word of truth, not our own truth, God’s truth. So it must be available to have something other then the truth.
God wants us to focus and study on His Truth, bring His Truth down to our thinking, not our thinking up to Him, see it?
That’s what we also do with the Word of God, Study, approved, not ashamed,workman,rightly-divide it, the word, the truth.
man, let’s have fun with God’s Word and quite twisting it up.
Good Day
