Psalm 23:1-6 KJV
A Psalm of David.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

October 26, 2011 at 5:36 amThe words from Psalms 23:1-6 really touched my soul, while reading them I realized that I am putting these scriptures to action as I go out and feed the homeless the word of God for the nourishment of their souls, as I provide food for the nourishment of their bodies. Thank you Lord for giving me this opportunity and thank you lord for your saving Grace. In Jesus name I pray Amen!

October 26, 2011 at 6:31 amIt is precious to know that the Lord leads us into paths of righteousness. This means that any “leading” into unrighteous ways is not of Him. What a great plumbline the Word of God is!

October 27, 2011 at 5:45 amYes this is a great psalm and I am so thankful for his rod and staff to comfort me because broad and wide is the way of destruction and many go that way but few find the straight and narrow path because it is only by grace and his will to do so as we are but dust and clay he is the potter and are at his total mercy and no one can say why have you made me thus as the clay cannot say to the potter why have you done this as he love one and hates the other before either one has done good or evil. Oh what a mighty God he truly is one to be feared and trembled before as he will show mercy to who he wants to and harden who he wants to. This is comforting as it shows that man has nothing to do with what he has ordained it will all work out as he has written it.
