Endorsements:

“After preaching out of the same version for over 10 years, I switched to the ESV Bible. I find it both accurate and easily readable, which is a rare combination.”
—Francis Chan
Author and Speaker, former Pastor of Cornerstone Church, Simi Valley, CA

“The ESV has taken the evangelical world by storm. It is the newest, freshest, and by far the best translation. It retains all the dignity, beauty, and magnificence of the old Authorized (version), and yet takes into consideration the best manuscripts and is a word-for-word accurate representation of the original languages.”
—Dr. John MacArthur
Pastor-teacher, Grace Community Church, Sun Valley, CA

“The ESV has been my primary Bible for study and devotion over the past three years. I like it best because it gives me a close sense of what the original says.”
—Ajith Fernando
National Director, Youth for Christ, Sri LankaBible Teacher and Author

I’m studying for the ministry, and Dr. John MacArthur has written several of my textbooks. If he endorses this Bible, you KNOW it’s got to be good!

Again when they take words like Jesus Christ out of the verses, to me it’s not good, no matter who is endorses.

I am very sad the you endorsed this kind of translation. I compared many verses in Romans and
one time that they take the name of Jesus Christ out in one of a verses it’s enough for me to reject it.
How in the world John MacArthur endorsed this Bible? They took the word judgment which
is very strong to me to decree which changes the strong meaning of judgment.
I will keep my JKB. God told us not to add or take away His Word.
This is my personal conviction and thinking. They are getting the Bible water down to the point the Antichrist will be able to read it.
