[footage is from the intro of the movie Contact]
The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above1 proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech, nor are there words,
whose voice is not heard.
Their voice2 goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tent for the sun,
which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber,
and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy.
ts rising is from the end of the heavens,
and its circuit to the end of them,
and there is nothing hidden from its heat.—Psalm 19:1-6 ESV
The great expanse of the universe bears witness to its Maker. When we sing of the glory of God or declare His majesty to those around us, we are joining a song that the galaxies have been singing since time first began.
How great is our God.

May 11, 2011 at 10:56 amI’m not much on blogging but the other night a friend invited me to watch a dvd entitled “the privileged planet.” this little viewing “contact zoom out from earth” inspired me to let anyone interested to see “the privileged planet”. indeed the heavens do declare….”glory to God”. This earth must have been created by intelligent design and there is no one better to ascribe it to than God Almighty.
