Resurrection Sunday

Mark 16:1-8,

When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. And they were saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?”And looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back—it was very large. And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were alarmed. And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.” And they went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had seized them, and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

Christ is Risen! Yes but right now He is preparing to return to this earth in the lifetime of most people alive right now, “this generation” to; a)stop the most horrific war this earth has ever seen; b)resurrect His followers including all the great men of the Bible back to life to help Him rule in the coming kingdom of God; and c)rule the earth as a king from a massive truly glorious city called “new Jerusalem” that comes down to this earth from His Father in Heaven. Read all Matthew 24 and 25, Revelation 1:1-3, chapters 21 and 22 and really “believe” God Almighty and Jesus Christ really do say!

The great tragedy today is that multi millions of Christians will not be greeting Jesus when He returns! Why? Because they have no knowledge of why, when and how He will return. They refuse to believe what He clearly says, welded to their church denominational beliefs, traditions and customs rather than the truth from God Almighty and Jesus Christ!

“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” Luke 12:32 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.” John 10: 27-29 “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” Revelation 22:12.

I’m sorry Ken but I have to disagree with your statement:

Our salvation is not based upon our knowledge of end time events. Our salvation is by accepting Jesus as our Savior and only His work on the cross saves us.

I agree with your statement about denominational beliefs. traditions and customs and I think I know the point you are making as a whole. It’s very sad when you realize that a large percentage of believers are not reading His word daily and working on their relationship with Him. I think the parable of the 10 virgins Matthew 25:1-13 is a great illustration of this.

Ken, Would you please explain how this particular statement will happen in a little more detailed example?

    Thanks

I’m not a friend of Ken or know who Ken is or agree with Ken or totally understand all that Ken is referring to, but he does have a point about Believers “welded to their church denominational beliefs, traditions and customs” over their Messiah.
