March 27, 2013 at 5:04 pmI can’t help but feel sad about Easter.
I recall getting a Easter bonnet, Easter dress, purse and shiny black shoes for Easter Sunday. Dressing to the nines for church on Easter Sunday.
Our Lord entered Jerusalem on a donkey’s foal. Zechariah 9:9; Matthew 21:1-11 Even His triumphal entry was HUMBLE.
Their children sang, “Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Hosanna in the highest!”
Our children sing “Here comes Peter Cottontail”.
We reinforce without ANY shame a concept of Easter that has more to do with paganism than it does His death and Resurrection.
The early Christians willingly died for their faith while today our faith dyes eggs. What hypocrisy!

March 28, 2013 at 4:24 amHe is raising a Mighy Army not conformed to the Hypocrisy of the day, who walk in peace and in love, quitely now until the day……Just believe and Know He sets the stage and uses the props as He sees fit. The great drama is His and we are His forever more even today.
