“For this very night there stood before me an angel of the God to whom I belong<\/strong> and whom I worship”<\/span>
\nActs 27:23 KJV<\/span><\/p>\n

The Christian belongs to Christ.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. We are His by donation.<\/strong>\u00a0We have been given to Christ by the Father (John 17:6).<\/li>\n
  2. We are His by His death;<\/strong>\u00a0for He has bought us with His blood (1 Corinthians 6:20).<\/li>\n
  3. We are His by deliverance,<\/strong>\u00a0for He has delivered us from the kingdom of darkness (Colossians 1:13).<\/li>\n
  4. We are His by dependence,<\/strong>\u00a0for by His grace we are what we are (1 Corinthians 15:10).<\/li>\n
  5. We are His by His dwelling within us,<\/strong>\u00a0for our bodies are the temples of the Holy Ghost (1 Corinthians 3:16).<\/li>\n
  6. We are His by direction,<\/strong>\u00a0for “as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Romans 8:14).<\/li>\n
  7. We are His by dedication,<\/strong>\u00a0for we have yielded ourselves to Him (Romans 6:16).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
