Have you ever wondered who runs the Blue Letter Bible website? We are a small ministry called Sowing Circle.\u00a0Sowing Circle<\/a>\u00a0exists\u2014by God’s grace\u2014as a ministry dedicated to sowing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that one of the most effective methods to spread the Word is to work together with other ministries in evangelizing, teaching the Scriptures and ministering in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. One of the ways we do this is through the ministry of the Blue Letter Bible website.<\/p>\n The primary operational focus is\u00a0the\u00a0Blue Letter Bible<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0Blue Letter Bible Institute<\/a>, where we are offering quality Bible courses over the Internet. In addition, we seek to help other ministries through assisting them in various ways.<\/p>\n Our “ministry passage” is found in John 4:<\/p>\n Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both\u00a0he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together<\/strong>. For in this the saying is true:\u00a0‘One sows and another reaps.’<\/strong>\u00a0I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.<\/em><\/p>\n Thank you for using our Bible study tools, and thank you to those who have partnered with us through prayer or resources or funds. May God continue to bless us all with His mercy and faithfulness. In essence, our ministry may sow while another reaps and vice versa. Paul understood this when he wrote, “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth” (1 Corinthians 3:6-7). If there is any fruit that comes out of our ministry, it is because God provided the growth. He has continued to grow the ministry and its influence over the last several years, and for that we are thankful to God. It is a great privilege to participate in God’s sovereign work through the Blue Letter Bible and our other ministries.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
